PhD student position in graphene terahertz electronics

Information about the project
The Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience – MC2 is a unique research department in the areas of micro- and nanotechnology, housing more than 200 researchers and PhD students. At the terahertz and millimeter wave divsion, main research activities are on technologies with applications ranging from basic science to future wireless sensors and communication systems. Today, terahertz technology is an indispensable tool for space science, with the hope of gaining fundamental knowledge of the origin of our universe, and for atmospheric science, which is directly related to the environmental challenge and climate change effects. The project is part of the Graphene Flagship (, which represents a new form of joint, coordinated research on an unprecedented scale, forming Europe’s biggest ever research initiative.
