Información sobre prevención de incendios
Junto al recibo de diciembre para la residencia he recibido la siguiente carta:
Information about fire safety from KTH Accommodation:
During Christmas there is unfortunately a higher risk of fire incidents. Here is some information and advice for our tenants regarding how to minimize the risk of fire. Please read carefully!
Make sure the smoke detector in your room is working. In order to check if it’s working press the button in the middle of the detector. If it is connected it will make a sound, otherwise not. The blinking signal only indicates that the battery is working. If it is out of order, always report this to KTH Accommodation.
Never leave lit candles unattendend!
Only light candles that are steadily places in non-flammable candle holders.
Don’t forget to put out the candles!

La carta me recuerda que nunca deje las velas encendidas y que compruebe que la alarma de incendios funciona correctamente.
Por si no lo había dicho antes, a los suecos les encantan las velas. Y aunque la mayoría que vivimos en Stadshagen no lo somos, seguro que no es la primera vez que se crea un incendio (al fin y al cabo, más de uno por aquí es un peligro en la cocina).
